![]() ![]() ![]() Upon arriving to check in we were informed that staff were unable to come to work therefore room service was not availbe, some resturants were closed others closing early and some would only have limited food options, the spa was closed for 2 days (main reason I was looking forward to staying here) We was told we would have to pay $11 a device to connect to wifi (motel 8 offers free wifi-REALLY $11!!) Once able to order room service (prices high-portions not worth price) We shared our concerns with the hotel staff making them aware of our disatification-there response "maybe next time your stay will be better" Now we made reservations and were expected to uphold our commitment had we cancelled we would have been charged-so why wasn't the staff required to uphold their same responsibilites? We stayed 3 nights 4 days and the first 2 1/2 days nothing was availble (due to staffing) so we requested to stay an extra night-they informed us we would have to move rooms and pay a higher rate than we were paying already-we declined our request and left at regular check out. When planning our much needed vacation-we chose Horseshoe southern indiana because they offered hotel/casino/spa/dinning all onsite. ![]()
